- All tests are performed according to ASTM Standards.
- ASME etc. codes are used whenever seems necessary.
- To determine the material allowables the following tests are carried out
- Coupon tests (Tension, compression, shear, bending etc.)
- Elemental tests and joint tests
- Sub-component and component tests are almost impossible to carry out due to the size and generally unnecessary for material allowables.
- As the material allowables A-Basis or B-Basis values are used depending on the customer requirements
